When is enough, enough?

Ok, for the last couple of days, had a contract climber in (won`t mention his name on here though). Got off to a bad start, his car broke down, I then ran this guy arout like a taxi service, put him onto a reasonably priced garage near me, sorted his car.

The job itself was easy peasy, so he spent most of both days lazing around chattin, managed to do a crown clean on one tree in the two days.

He supped lots of coffee, had loads of ciggy breaks and was well chilled for the duration.

All this i can cope with, even giving refills on his flask, after all it was lovely weather for hanging around outside chillin, but, the last straw came when he ate my lunch!

I mean, how low can someone get, to eat another working mans sannis?

The issue is now, should i pay him, was the lunch incident a step too far?

because your asking us the question "when is enough enough"

then really you know what to do already

you abvoiusly feel he's taking the piss ,

its up to you if you let him continue

the risk with not acting is that others will follow the his lead .....

personally a rocket up his arse as a minimum if you believe hes worth another try or

Bye !

Taking someones luch is toooo low ,,, i once tried to stuck fork through a friends hand when he tried to take my lunch from me, scratched his and broke the fork, but he never tried that again !!

don't pay him ,,,,, or pay him and then charge a silly amount of money for the lunch and take it from the paycheck !!!!

Did you get everything done you had booked the climber for? If so then I assume the customer paid up without issue. if this is the case then I would pay but have a word about the impressions he has left you with. He is a contract climber who relies on his reputation for work, talking to your friends could cost him much more than a day or 2's wages you might dock.

If you didn't manage to get everything you wanted to do done because you had to run him about then I would discuss this with the climber and come to some arrangement stating you have lost money as a result of the climbers predicaments and you want some compensation.

As for the sandwiches, never mess with another mans wife or snap. Unless you offered to share them he would have eaten woodchip and have been told to leave site.
