ID needed not tree related.

I found this in a freshly ploughed field full of flint.

it seems to be flint it's solid and has the weight of flint.

are they the flat fossils as formed in layers of rock or how should I explain it ,

This is a Scientifically speaking a very odd object.

 

First thing to consider here is that flint is as yet still of unkown origins! I.e they dont know how it is formed.

 

Then it cleary shows a sea urchin patterning, but is totaly flint inside, so whats the story?

The few I have found are 3 dimensional,not uncommon at all.:001_smile:
