A freind of mine was asked once if he was a modern man.

 

"what do you mean" he said.

 

Well, would you buy your wife some sanitary products from the supermarket if she asked you to?

 

His reply was "No fffing way would I ever go to the supermarket!!"

My wife gets really pissed with me because I insist on going into Tenbury on Saturday mornings and doing a full shop in all the little independent places, butcher, baker, [candle stick maker] fish shop, greengrocers.... I hate supermarkets, we just seem to buy overpriced crap we don't need to the benefit of a few a-hole shareholders every time we walk in there.... screw supermarkets. Can't stand 'em....

Loads of tescos near me with an asda and couple of morrisons nearby. Ain't posh enough round here for those waitrose folk!

 

Just been to tesco myself and got 8 800 gram loaves of bread for 12p each. 10% of what they were at full price. Best before tomorrow but will just freeze them and will do us for weeks!
