that is very very nice. my benches always end up wonky looking.

have you thought about drilling two small holes to stop rain water collecting in the hollows under the owls. I made a bird bath once and even though i seaed the wood it rotted through in no time, and on a bench as nice as this that would be a real shame.

well done

Fantastic bench :thumbup1:

As good as the owls are I think the bench would have more appeal for me with out them as its beauty for me is in the natural flowing lines and simplicity

Really dont wish to ruffle feathers but without the owls its probably the nicest bench I've seen to good for the garden imo :thumbup1:

Really love to try and make a copy if that was ok ?

The bench is only loosly put together in the picture. When it was put in its final position wedge slivers were knocked into the gaps to hold everything tight. Its the first bench ive ever made and it worked well.

If I were to make another one I would not do the owls again either. But I just get something into my head and just fancy having a go. I made this more for advertisement reasons really.

By all means copy, thats the great thing about this forum, it gives us all some inspiration to have a go at new things.
