hey guys im looking to get our first chipper and was just wondering what u lot would get in our position its gotta be 750 kg unit so any tips would be great cheers damian:thumbup:

I would not argue with that Quadchip all the way, saves a lot of trimming up with the big letterbox feed.

 

It all depends on Budget as quadchips are newish machines not a lot of 2nd hand machines about.

My local dealer sorted me out a really good finance deal on my quadchip, it costs me the same a month as hiring a TW150 for 3 days.

Not used one, but its only 26hp with a feed opening of 6.3"x7.9".

 

The GM has about the same size infeed and the turntable, but 34hp and still under 750kg.

Have'nt used one myself mate, but heres a link to a review of a GM Quad Chip 150 at Horticulture Week. Cost in UK is about £14,850 'bout €18,222. Hope this helps.

we r not uk based but what is the cost of a 3 day hire for a tw150 and how long is ur finance deal set for pete
