A friend at primary school came in to class with a flash new watch! I asked where it came from and he said he heard noises coming from his perants bedroom and when he looked his dad was playing tents with the woman next door. He said his dad gave him the watch and told him to keep quiet:sneaky2:

That night I to heard noises coming from mum and dads bedroom so I went in and they were also making tents :sneaky2:

I puffed my chest out and clear a calm voice asked if I could to have a watch?

"Yeah sure son" dad said "pull up a chair "

Which f1 ? Ive got the red case/green bezel funky combo kicking around somewhere

Mine was stainless with black bezel and black strap but I got a tag stainless strap put on. They look a bit dated now but back in the day they were the bees knees!!

I have a Seiko which my sister got for me as a wedding present.

Irritatingly I cracked the glass without realising then dunked it in the bath and it's not working properly at the moment... need to get it to a jeweller to see if it can be saved.

Hope it can, great watch!

Just to throw another one into the works... Citezen Eco-Drive?

I have two citizen eco drives, the first a diving one I wore day and night for 10 years. Including climbing and diving. First one was £250 odd quid but the second only £60. I got another ecodrive because I wanted a lighter simpler watch with no batteries. The misses wouldn't buy it for me as it came from argos! She brought me a expensive seiko but it weighed a ton, so I sent it back!

Buy Citizen Men's Eco-Drive Watch at Argos.co.uk - Your Online Shop for Men's sports watches.

I keep being drawn back to the Malvern Aviator jobby, it is more expensive, but it just looks right. Maybe one of those and a cheap watch for other stuff... I'm turning into one of those watch people!
