NO! Delete this thread and spare me the agony. I can't bear to see Unimog stuff now I'm a Transit van loser 😱

Getting shut of mine was the best thing I ever did! They look cool but as soon as your not using it to its potential itll sink you! And even If you are using it'll make your life hard!!

would be overkill for a turfing job haha

Dr. Green is that the Colin White who cut his own heid off and drove to hospital to get it stitched back on?

It maybe ruined you but unimogs made me:)

Brilliant machines!

There's no doubt they're good machines! I think I had a bit of bad look and bought the wrong one! You need to spend a lot of money to get a good one!!

Thinking you'll buy a cheaper one and do it up doesn't work!!

Glad you've had good times with them though!

That's the thing Johnski. It used to work to its potential most days. Now it only does 4/5 days a week at full tilt so it's costing me on the other days.

It had to go but it doesn't mean I wasn't gutted. Having said that, after a week with a Transit, working with it easier. It's easier to drive, it's easier to load gear and the chipper is easier to use.

But it's I've overloaded after 10 minutes and that's rubbish 👎.

That's the big problem when you change back isn't it!! Even though I think of you do t really need the mog your better off! The being easier to drive things quite Important, I used to drive a fair way in mine some days and you could be knackered by the time you got to the job!! Do you not fancy a 7.5 tonner?

I'd love a 7.5tonner or bigger but once again they cost more to run and young unlicensed staff can't drive them.

I know what you mean about driving the Mog. A few months ago we spent a week driving to a job in south London which took 1.5hrs to get to. I was screwed when we arrived 😂😂!

If I'm honest, I'll miss the cudos, the chip carrying as mine had a big box, a cooler cab in summer and not getting stuck on wet grass
