I'm on hot whisky, honey and lemon.

Without the lemon...

Do you think it's a bad idea to now have night nurse...

That concoction knocked me out for about 18hrs. And I mean proper unconscious...

Not a good idea... Don't give the girl whisky for God's sake...

Haha, 3 pages of tea/flask related banter. Anyway, tried the flask of water and tea bags seperatley today, was ok, but I must agree with Mr skyhuck it isnt the same. Gonna have to invest in a portable kettle. Which is best? i.e price, practicality, speed to boil etc???? (lets have another 3 pages of porta kettle arguing haha)

Hey, i have a storm kettle, a variation on a kelly kettle, stored in an old ammo box it goes on the wagon as a unit, with sugar, instant white tea (not as bad as it sounds), and a couple of mugs. Light a small fire in the base and it boils in just a few minutes depending on how dry the kindling is. Lets face in our line of work there is always a bit of deadwood kicking about, and we all carry petrol, so starting it is no issue. However it normally only goes out with us if we are working out in a field somewhere or on a site clearance, as people have pointed out if doing work near civilisation it is easier to rely on the customer or local shop. Having said that its a great way to warm up especially on these cold mornings.
