after reading so many of you slate marlow gecko rope:001_tongue: im looking at changing my system aswell as rope

what VT do people like best? any pics?

(not bothered about self tending, just like to be able to pull through slack easily every time-mine occasionally gets tight)

whats the best hitch cord to use?

whats the best rope? (i like chunky rope, pref 13mm, and hate stretch/bounce on the rope. itd have to be 45m line)

like the look of Yale scortch, and XTC (purely like them as they look pretty:001_smile:)

thanks:001_smile:

JUst messing. Been on computer too long today! Still can't find a skiing deal!

Anyway, from what you are saying I'd go for arbormaster with ocean polyester cordage, can't go wrong with that and it will self tail if used with a hitch climber.

i bought some ocean polyester eye to eye hitch for tying VTs and iam struggling with it. Somtimes i can get it to lock and other times it slips, tried all the different combinations of wraps and braids. Some days it works on a 3-2 others it just wont bight on a 3-2 (proper frustrating:bored:), anyone else having probs with this hitch cord?
