Thats a shocker,hope it all comes right asap for you,loosing sight must be a big one to deal with mate,very frightening.

When I was a kid I picked up a dud firework & it went off in my face,couldnt open my eyes & ended up with a couple of days with no vision,what I remember now is how it enhanced my other senses,you know,hearing, touch,smell ,& air movement around you.

Focus on them & get yourself well.:001_smile:

When you look at the menu you try to figure out what they will do the least damage to. After a bit you come to realise they can muck up every type of food going.

Now I know where my last pair of boots went.

I used to get migraines real bad. Starting with the funny vision thing. Usually when reading you suddenly realise bits of the page are not there any more. Later on I got to know that this was the moment to lock myself in a dark room and try to sleep. Fighting it was no good for me. Ended with crushing headache and vommiting. Don't seem to get them any more.

 

Just a thought, but you are expecting a baby soon and that is a massive thing. Is this a bit of pressure that maybe you are not even aware of expressing itself in an odd way? I know when we were expecting our first I was fine for ages. Plenty of slaps on the back and new dady stuff. Then I fell to pieces with it all and broke down one evening. This was before the birth. Ended up sobbing like a big girl. It was just too much to take on board for my tiny feeble brain. Becoming a daddy is a massive thing and it can express itself in odd ways. Especially if, like me, your emotional vocabularly consists only of the words 'BACON BUTTIE'.

 

Anyway, wishing you all the best. You are in the right place, grim though it may be for the moment.
