Did it at 8.45 this morning. Missed a turn on my independent drive but that was because of traffic. 8 minors in all. Pretty pleased!

£115 for the test and £35/hr for training. That will vary depending on trainer though. It's not that tricky. If you can learn a bit of road craft then it will make your life easier!

Congrats, Did you have to provide your own trailer? also if your doing it in a Landrover or something similar, are you allowed to drop it into LOW so it make reversing easier? I would consider myself good at reversing but I always drop the box anyhow as it means less clutch control.

uncouple and recouple the trailer, reverse manouver which is very simple. then a 40 minute drive including a 10 minute independent drive. fairly straight forward. You take lessons till your ready for the test, in my case it was 2 lessons 2 hours each and i was ready.

my instructor provided the vehicle and trailer, used a hyundai IX35, good little crossover 4x4 thing. Drives nice and was plenty for the test, trailer was a small box trailer. I think using a landy would be tougher as its a heavier clutch and less steering lock.
