Do you need irata or tower climbing & rigging tickets for the job?

 

Good question Pete, I would imagine that to comply with HSE the answer is yes.

 

John, if a turbine can supply me with a pension of £100k a year I will happily let you erect one on my knacker-sack.

You'll have to have somebody IRATA qualified for erecting that sort of structure.. I would think for the insurance to cover the works you'll have to have two guys, one an IRATA L1 and the other an IRATA L3 to keep you right.

 

Sounds like an interesting project though... you should get some pics up once it's done!

 

 

PS, sorry not got back to you on the chipping yet... not had a chance ot get my head together with that particular job yet.
