very nice job indeed.

i use to have a perspex window on my transit.. until we started the chipper.. didnt last.. ended up with some 1/4 ply on hinges.

mind your rear tailgate on the tow ball.. had mine all sign written, the very next day back at the yard tipping off chip.. big dirty scuff right down the middle.!! gutted.

I had thought of that as had it happen on other vehicles. The tailgate is made so that it is well away from the tow ball when tipped.

Good design skills, protects the lights and plate when tipping logs and cord.

Where are you based mate? I sometimes venture over the border into Rye and Peasmarsh, but beyond that the locals start looking at us funny.

Haha I find that the local tree surgeons start looking at us funny when I venture out of my stomping grounds, I'm based near Lewes in East Sussex.

Looks superb now it's finished. We have an extra coil spring fitted which works perfect. Not too hard when empty and never looks overloaded. One thing we did find because its fully loaded :001_rolleyes: but does not sit down the brake pro portioning valve does not send enough to rear brakes. Also a lot of them are seized. If your brakes are not ideal worth a look first.
