  1. sorry i miss read the post. in that case its what happened to mind. a friend gave me a new latching relay, plug in and off out to work again.
  2. iv had a similar problem. only mine was the infeed not reverse. a new latching relay sorted it for me.
  3. Thanks Nick. iv never used them before so its probly gunna take me a while to get used to it. as for the remote its self, where did you get your from? iv seen this..   4. Hey guys, wondering if you can help or advise. Iv just bought the go pro 3, and im looking to buy a remote. from what ive seen on the go pro site, it doesnt look like they come with a Velcro wrist strap? can anyone confirm this? Where did you buy yours from? Thankyou in advance.

  7. Evening all, Usually im ok with pricing my jobs, but could do with some help on this one.. I was contacted by a 'maintenance man', who wants a price for clearing alot of over grown shurbery by a pub. All the shrubs to be chipped an left on site, and all the stumps to be treated. Shrubs are mainly all Pyracantha In pictures 1,2 its clear someone started it, but give up!! All that will remain is the 2 sycamore trees in the last picture. iv taken some pictures to help show you.. Would you go in with a fixed price, or day rate?.. what would you do?
  8. Hi Colin, I use the same stein cambium saver, problem i found is more often than not, the 'over hand knott' gets stuck going thro the red ring.. annoying up a 60ft beech.. i now use a spliced eye on my climbing line with a retrieval ball..
  9. im not to sure, im viewing the job tomorrow.. thats what i was thinking, alot of weight etc.. if i can get close enough i can use a hiab, however moving them this time of year.. not so good! ill have to see what access is like first.. il get some pictures and post if i can..   10. Evening all.. Been asked to move a Magnolia & Acer.. Both aprox 7ft in height, with around 6/8 inch stems.. The customers moving house within the next month and wants to know if she can take these with here due to sentimental value?.. When would you say the best time to do this is..? Thanks

  12. i think its classed as a HGV test.. as the gvw exceeds 3.500kg.
  13. i have read somewhere that you need to put 65% of the playload on the back for break tests.. i was unsure if this was for my test tho..
  14. Evening all.. Just a quick question regarding my vosa mot tomorrow. I have roughly 2 cubic metres of chip on my truck.. question is.. can this be left on for the mot, or does it need to be empty? i have looked into this on the net, but havnt found anything helpful. Thanks in advance, Martin

  17. very nice job indeed. i use to have a perspex window on my transit.. until we started the chipper.. didnt last.. ended up with some 1/4 ply on hinges. mind your rear tailgate on the tow ball.. had mine all sign written, the very next day back at the yard tipping off chip.. big dirty scuff right down the middle.!! gutted.

  20. what would you suggest i do.. replace the logs (his idea) and see if the matter goes away or..
  21. thanks for the replys.. having just spoken to him on the phone just now, he told me his chinney was swept last month.. im even more confused now.. the ash was hollow when dismantling.. would the rotten pieces have anything to do with the above matter? and its a log burner not a open fire..

I delivered 3 cube bags of unseasoned ash logs to a customer about 2/3 months ago. i recieved a phone call from him today saying he wasnt too happy with them... he said he noticed his eyes seemed to be a bit red and was difficult to breathe.. alittle taken back i asked what he wanted me to do.. he said if i could exchange them for some others that would be completley fine. what i would like to know is.. what the cause of this may have been?
