Yes I can do both of those. Got a hilux extra cab unit in the paint shop now, I'll put some pics up when I have fitted it.

Galvanising is not really suitable as the sheet tends to distort, we use an etch primer which chemically bonds to the steel, and a very hard gloss top coat.

 

With a coating of speedliner on the top that would be mint.

Great idea Peter, good luck with it. If you ever fit a highsided one to a Nissan D22 King Cab let me know as I'd like to see how it works out. Could be handy for chipping into on the odd small job here and there.
