I feel a little left behind here i'm going to have to go on amazon and get some new viewing material. Ihave yet to see NCFOM so i'll have to stay with the Fargo theme. In my opinion sheer brilliance and for the comedy factor you cant beat The Big Lebowski, both fine efforts from the Coen brothers.. JJG I do know what you mean about Martin Scorsese since Casino... ...Taxi driver has always been one of my favourites though.

 

Anyone seen 1408 w/ John Cusack That is the best Steven King adaptation since Misery.

Good tip, will have a look at that. I use Love film for my home entertainment.

Love film is fantastic!! Big Lebowski was my choice of film at college!! It why our Student Bar started stocking Kaluha!! Too many drunkards asking for White Russian!!! Brilliant film!!!

A classic film with some good climbing footage in...is times a great notion ,or it was released in the uk as never give an inch,it has a young paul newman spiking up a massive dougie with a huge mac chainsaw,taking the top out and climbing on top of the stump whist its still swaying to get a view over his work site.....reccomend the book by ken kassey as well... but i cant find the film any where!

'sometimes a great notion' or 'never give a inch'... great film. but almost impossible to get a copy of (only the odd vhs floating around)...

 

paul newman didnt like the film and pretty much pulled it from circulation (he owned the film rights etc, and wouldnt let it be re-released on dvd) shame..
