Really admire Littletree and the like , could not have been easy starting out ...cant imagine the amount of B.S you would had to put up with from the macho neanderthal types that are rife in our industry . Passion and lots of resolve ...

Hi yes it does happen in the beginning and its not easy and it's the same in geo too ,i but luckily not in a long time, where ever I go the lads have all been great . As as time goes on you just know exact ally what to do and how to do it, it very quickly becomes apparent to everyone on site that you need no prompting and can do your job efficiently and safely .

 

Being female goes down a treat with all my customers it's usually the wife that rings me and they really like having a girl coming to do the job ,

 

I hope more girls take it up , it's the best thing I ever did

It was a female tree surgeon that got me interested in arboriculture. I'm now studying arb in the hope that I may be able to make a second career choice out of it if I'm ever out of work in my current profession.

Mines a cracker, Ties up ropes good. carnt climb for her life and can work the chipper better the some of the lads.
