Husky combi can's

My father in law has Husky can thats over 25 year with the original nozzle's on my "new" can i have changed the nozzle's a couple of times I think they have changed both the plastic it's made of and some of the design ,,,,, my next can will be a stihl can i'm affraid :P

 

Remember the original nozzles were black? We have an old jonsered combi can thats about 30 years old, red with yellow nozzles...

Yes the oldet ones was black but the first batches of green ones did hold up well too, it seems like the new ones with O-rings on the nozzle top are just crap ,,,,

Husky have changed the spouts within the last 18 months and they are crap. If you take them back to your dealer they will replace them f.o.c, maybe if enough people do that they will realise there is something wrong and do something about it. Saying that we have just bought 2 stihl ones cos we got fed up with replacing them and we'll see how they compare.

Changed from Husq to Stihl Pro Clear Combi Cans about a year ago.

Wo'nt be going back.

 

The only slight draw back I've found, is that with a larger oil capacity (3 lts) and smaller petrol capacity (5 lts) the two sides of the combi cans are relatively similar in size compared to the Husq, and I have caught myself a couple of times nearly filling the oil res with petrol. Doh !

Just been in at my dealer whole box of spout's all of them were stiff that's before they have even been used! Stihl can's seem to be the way to go.:001_smile:
