One reason I use Aspen

All depends on how much the fuel is in your area bud. Sure someone on here maybe even near the start of this thread worked it out for them.

End of the day i'm happy using it and so are the clients with interest. Even the guy opposite me who owns a bike show is interested, since he's forever fixing bikes that wont start due to old fuel etc after the winter season.

OK duck that one then, care to expand on this

When u and ur kit will last longer

Over the last couple of decades I have run countless saws, most of them into the ground as well as fixing third party kit and I have yet to have one expire because it was running on pump, so, why do they run longer on alkylate?

Aspen Fuel :: Home

Take a read

You are on form with the ducking and dodging today, care to be a be more specific, I see you aren't exactly talking from experience, its easy to reproduce advertising blurb from the seller.

BTW Aspen is at least double the price of pump, is 100% what you had in mind when you said not much difference?

I appreciate that you are happy with the product but I think you are over egging the pudding a little.

Lmao how am i over egging it??

Also didn't say I'm running everything on it 😜 so I'm not using 5ltrs a day etc.

yes I'm new to the aspen game, but i am happy with being able to log up take down stumps work within connies etc/hedge trimming with out stinking of 2stroke choking etcetcetc.

For me the main test was the my wife, she hasn't complained since I've been using it👍 saving me ears which is always good.

When i changed my diaphragms over they were degraded/sticking together etc. in a couple of years ill open up the carb again and see the difference.

End of the day the thread title one reason why i use aspen

Lol

Saying its a little dearer when its actually at least double

It's not actually too bad price wise when you work it out, round here petrol is £1.40/l so £7, plus 2t oil of your choice, if you use HP, that's nearly £2 per 100ml, and ultra is £3.70!, so if you run ultra it's only £6 more, and you get more VAT back!

You are paying too much for our oils and you don't get vat back you offset it (IF you are vat registered) and there is only more vat because you are spending more money

So it is still double.

You know what I mean, it's between 75-50% more expensive, and when you're doing lots of hedge cutting, brush cutting in a sort of enclosed area or milling, it's worth that bit extra, plus people who have used my saws always comment on the extra oomph they seem to give! I get a higher rpm range, even when rich aswell
