Wouldn't slag off gardeners - there's many a fully fledged gardener/landscaper who have got a better idea of tree work and will do a better job than some of the fully qualified/insured spikey tree firms!

trouble is at the moment and this economic climate theres going to be more and more sharks out there - and ones you didnt expect, not just the get rich quick lads

 

large companies ripping small one man band ones off, consultants and grantwork/grandfunding, so called council officials ripping off work and the brown envelope brigade. - i could go on

 

working ethicaly and honestly leaves you short of money and with no work!
