Landrover Lads - 235/75/16 on a defender?

As above really, will 235/75/16 BFG MTs fit my defender? Been offered a set at a very good price but have in my head they are Disco sizes?

got 235/85/16 on my 90, they catch on full lock, other than that they are fine.

mines are 235/85R16 no issues at all , not M/Ts though .

They will be ok. a tiny bit undersized if anything but only by a few mm I think. (I could be wrong there though lol)

Ive had 265 75 r16. Cooper stt's not bfg's

dont know if that helps - but some of the numbers match

Yes they will fit, however they are a lower profile tyre so your Landy will sit lower. Great for cornering ..not great for your underbelly, diffs, steering bars and fuel tank when off the road!

I have 235/85.16's on my 90, the drivers side wheel on full lock catch's the radious arm on full lock.. left hand down. and i'm on BFG A/T'S, other than that no problems.......

I run BFG 235/85/16 Muds without any issues.

If the tyres fit the rims they will fit. However 235/75/16 will look a little lost in the wheel arches of a defender.

 

If 235/85/16s are rubbing on your radius arms at full lock, you need to adjust your lock stops. I have 265/85/16 on mine (I think) and they were rubbing but adjusted the lock stops and they are fine now. I though I was going to have to fit wheel spacers. They other option is wheels with a larger offset.

235 75 16 are approx 29 inches high and standard disco fitment 235 85 16 are approx 31 inches high and are standard defender fitment i think
