My guys would 08:00 'til 17:30 with 10 minute morning tea, 30 for lunch with possibly a ten for tea @ 3. Sats @1.5 x time, sundays at double bubble!

 

They where happy on the whole and on reflection an honorable lot!

December isn't a problem on my jobs as I can get the Land Rover into most of them so dark ain't an issue!

 

In all seriousness, last week we were loading up in the dark, getting setup onsite just as it was getting light.

I hate working in the dark, and its not good for morale! Does't matter how many flood lights you put out, you cant beat natural daylight.

 

Wouldn't use a saw in anything less either!

i dont see how you can define break times, some days there are lots of quick breaks and some days there are none!!!! all depends if you want to/have to get done, i generally get to the yard at 7:15 and finish between 3 and 6, but we work it so its 4:30 most days:proud:
