You always wonder if anyone really wins big give away competitions! Ed Flint from Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire can prove it.

During 2011 a worldwide competition was held offering the lucky winner over £7000.00 worth of Arb Gear. The competition was sponsored by five of the leading names in the Arborist Industry STEIN, YALE Cordage, ISC, Pfanner, and Arbjobs. The draw to find the lucky winner was made on Friday 6th January by Steve Bullman the owner of Arbtalk.

Ed Flint 19 who lives in Aylesbury Buckinghamshire was the lucky winner. Ed has been involved in the Tree Care Industry for 3-years starting work with a local tree surgeon before moving to his current position of Arborist with Milton Keynes Parks Trust in September 2011. The Park Trust maintains over 4500 acres of woodland, road side vegetation and plantations along with open green spaces. As part of Ed’s on-going training and personal development he attends Moulton College on day release and spends a lot of his free-time on Arbtalk and recreational tree climbing with friends.

Ed, a self confessed tool junkie was over the moon when he was presented with his winning, it was like Christmas morning all over again.

All the sponsors would like to congratulate Ed on his win and look forward to meeting him at forthcoming trade events.
