There is obviously a period of adjustment after a period of greed and madness but if we do all hit really bad times then I blame the media for it.

Lazy beggers- cheaper to sell stories based on fear to get us all worked up than report on real events all over the world!

 

As yet can't see a real difference in work but I do think early 09 will be hard on some. Depends where you are.

ive felt a slight reduction in work load but it has certainly hit the construction sector i have a lot of friends who are out of work and most of the large house building sites close to me are closed, i was amazed though when i done my xmas shopping at the weekend the shops were mobbed !!! so it cant be that bad.

work is getting a bit tight, building sites round me a closed, also clients are watching the pennys a bit more, losing jobs for 20 quid now, but thats life i guess, have to go and start flogging me arse on stree corners.....:scared1:

Whilst all the builder's are getting laid off (well come on they've had 15 years of raking it in) tree work still going very well here. Lots of larger contracts but the domestic work quieting now (expected so close to Xmas).
