I was not aware of any made in China. The 236e that I have in my showroom at present is defo made in sweden.

The 240 is not on the 2012 Huskie price list.

Just checked the 236e again and found another sticker which says assembled in the USA!

The 2series Huskys are made at the Poulan plant in the US. They're Poulans, just re-badged. Same as the old 1 series like the 137 which was a half decent little saw for sitting behind the chipper to clean off wee stubs branches etc.

Need to renew my membership..miss those BBQ ribs and hot dogs they do...:001_tongue:

I've been demolishing those boxes of chocolate chip shortbreads recently. Even better with chocolate spread on!

I'll be going to the haddock one this week hopefully!

My local chainsaw guru advises not to touch them as they are not listed in the current Husqvarna catalogue and he believes were dropped last year due to problems with them.

I don't think I would buy any chainsaw from a costco, not if their like the ones here in the U.S. A lot of the time the are not the real thing. cheaper parts on the inside.
