I had such little experience when I did mine I was convinced I'd fail, but passed. I can only assume the assesors look for ability at the most basic level and possibly knowledge at a slightly higher level.

 

I'm sure the old hands on here will chip in to reassure you too. Good luck all the same.

I managed to pass mine despite having only about 2 hours of rescue practice. I forgot all the important stuff on the first attempt, the assessor gave me a good talking to and I had another go.

On the second rescue I injured my right knee, an old cartilage tear, locked it up, very painful! Just about managed to get my casualty to the ground, and miraculously passed.

 

So I'm sure you can do better than that, and pass it easily!

Picked up a few minor faults..took a while to estabalish my final anchor piont and could have planned my route up the tree better but nothing critical.

 

Arborcop was my assessor which was nice didnt know that..before anyone says their was no preferential treatment because it was him...cheers kevin.

 

Glad its over...tree was a bugger had to climb it like a corkscrew.

 

NEED BEER!!!
