new winch

Same sort of set up but I dint go for rope as I didn't like the snatch break on rope, used some 12mm cable instead, take more of a knock than rope. Hooks over a tow ball or the pin on the front of the tipper. Multi use as I can put it onto a trailer aswell.

 

Done a lot with the electric winch and it's going onto the front of the Landy soon just need to get the mounting plates sorted.

Was it "nearly" warrenting a felling licence?

 

it says in the exemptions page you dont need one if felling in a garden, this was a garden, half of them were stone dead so that comes under dead and cause nuisance.

 

 

if im honest it never crossed my mind to look into 1, i thought you only needed one if you were felling X amount and removing it off site.

okie dokie, must look ingot it myself aswell, some more reading up lol, not trying to catch you out.

 

You got a link for the winch from ebay? i like to get tried and tested stuff when i want it oppose to trying new stuff lol
