Thank you, how much of a stretch are you doing? I,m looking at making a body that is 3 dumpy bags long, so need to get my tape measure out when i find a donor vehicle.

 

Defenders go to 130 inches so staying as much as possible with standard parts I am going to aim for that and change the back axle for a sailsbury to get the MAM up to 3500kg

Defender 130 is actually still one hundred and twenty seven inches... fnar fnar geek hat on....

 

D4 commercial an AWESOME truck... do fancy one of those... SDV6 engine is a belter...

 

Ground clearance wise they have better clearance than most 4x4's because they now have independent suspension.... although on 3's this can play up something rotten so that one which bottomed out may just have been on the blink! When they're up you'd struggle to bottom one out, same goes for a Sport....
