I'm not sure about that - looks to me like the geese have made themselves invisible ! and the Whooper (?) is about to do the same !!!!

Nice, yeah they are really pretty looking little birds and great song. The finches are all really nicely coloured I think. Greenfinch are great, but unfortunately they are decreasing in numbers due to loss of habitat....

Not seen any Greenfinch here for probably 6/7yrs

Yes AJ . I have noticed I don't get many Green finches on my feeder now .  Chaffinches and Bull finches are becoming scarce as well . Get lots of Goldiies , Long tailed tits Blue and Great tits .

I see 1 or 2 a year but that is it.  Shockingly we are still killing off our wildlife with toxic fertilisers and chemicals and still destroying habitat despite the fact that we know this has to stop.

Whilst I agree with that I think the decline of greenfinches is down to people not keeping their bird feeders and water clean and spreading Trichomonosis about.
