Pete, are you well known enough on UKC to get away with starting a thread about this, really just for the purpose of getting some surveys done? Ultimately I'd like to canvas the rock climbing / bouldering etc community for opinions too.... when I get something I can demonstrate...

 

Not really Simon, but I've been registered for a while and now have a few days off so I'll work on it I'd also be more than happy to chat to a bunch of climbers who instruct my kids on the local wall and who climb regularly outdoors.

Had a good chat with a patent attorney this afternoon, prototyping should happen soon, it's tough keeping the pace up, it's very easy to think, 'actually, screw this, I can't be arsed to sit up every night after work till 1 or 2 in the morning drawing, writing business plans researching crap...' but I do genuinely think this is one of my better ideas!

Hey bro re the anodizing- I think that's why the pinto rig is purple and also the rigging hub by dmm. And the green on the pulley wheels of the impact block.
