Home made log splitter.

I'm looking into having a log splitter made. One on a trailer with its own power source. Anyone got any do's and don'ts?

Would be good to see a few?

Build the table so it's atleast waist high

Hi. If you build 1 it may be a health & safty problem? I was going to build 1 a year ago landed up buying a oxdale got no problems with letting any body using it as it's got CE marks. By the way buy a splitter then power it with a hydraulic power pack (eg,JCB beaver pack) mount all on a trailer.

build it to suit the size of logs you process ie big rings verticle splitter with foot plate on the floor, up to 12" horizontal at waist height with large work table

found these guys when looking for a tank, didnt use in end as fixed mine but they do a kit.
