Come across this today, it was stuck on a steep hill, the driver did not know the hill and had not got down the gears in time.

I've done that a time or two in the mog, but I can stop, select lower box + 4x4 and away I go :001_cool:

He could not get traction, so I gave him a tow, he was a little surprised as all up he weighted 64 ton, but thats nowt for a mog :001_tt1:

That looks like a double drive tractor unit. He obviously did'nt know how to use his diff and cross locks.

That second axle looks like it has single wheels.

6 x 2 tractor,girt heavy Wirtgen,perhaps not drives fault.:001_smile:

Ahh. it looked like 6x4. with that kind of weight, he probably could'nt risk lifting his back axle...

He could have moved the machine further forward maybe to balance the weight a bit, that rear tyre looks a bit over loaded.

Then again I dont drive trucks so what do I know :001_smile:

No,no the pic's were not taken on the hill, I did not think of taking any pic's till later, as he was holding up the rush hour traffic.

We were only working just up the road from the site he was taking it to, at brew time it was still parked up just down from us, so I nipped down and took the pic's.
