That is a beauty, here in Portugal we have some lovely old monsters..

i will try to find time to put a Photo thread together for you to see.

 

John P have you thought about moving to Portugal ?? far more trees than Spain, plus the people are FAR more friendlier.

Is there plenty work going in portugal though?

Yes , there are only 5 Tree surgery companies in the whole country, and one of them is us.

Vanessa my climber is one of only 3 women climbers, up until recently they would use a chain and a tractor to do tree surgery !!! , now they have realised the benefits of proper tree work,.

and normal forestry is huge here, you have to remember , Portugal is the largest forested country in Western Europe.with some of the oldest trees as well.

Great place to live and work ..... as long as you dont believe everything the BBC`s Robert Peston has to say about the country. ;-)
