brushcutter advice - Efco 8550 anyone?

I know it's not a chainsaw, but there's no brushcutter forum... apologies if this is in the wrong place!

Does anyone have any experience/thoughts on the Efco 8550 brushcutter? I have a couple of big Kawasakis I brought secondhand, but am very tempted by the thought of a brand new one with better AV.

Or are there any other recommendations for a 45+cc machine, NOT Stihl please?

cheers,

Joe

Can't advise you on anything other than what I have and that is a Husqvarna 345 rx( or the latest equivilent model ). Can't remember if its a different number now . They get hammered in the summer and I think they are stonking brush cutters . I have worn out one since 2004 and on the latest model as from last summer . Very powerfull . they do make one sise larger at around 50 cc also .

The Efco 8550 Boss is the top of the range professional brushcutter in the Efco range.

They are very good, reliable machines and I have customers who prefer them to the equivalent Stihl model(s)

I sell six a year to one contactor on a regular basis and I never, ever see them back with problems.

You won't be disappointed.
