green mech 1928, how far does it throw the wood chip

Will this machine fill the back of a 7.5tn lorry aswell as a timberwolf190 would.

The timberwolf has fans that can be replace, does the green mech work on a similar replaceable system?

The Greenmech will easily fill your 7.5 tonner.

 

Not sure about the fans, PeteB is your man for that.

does it handle wet conifer well? the back door of the truck are quite high and its a tall chip box, ill try and post a picture

dunno about conifer, but a Jensen A430 pumps hardwood further

You do tend to get a bit of a dribble with conifer, just as the no stress kicks in. The Timberwolf doesnt do that as the no stress kicks in much sooner, (and more often).

Don't know about conifer but small hardwood enough to knock the flashing beacon off a transit cab :-)

 

These later ones combine the engine cooling flow with the chipper disc flow.

 

Never seen a timberwolf nor looked at the greenmech fans.

Do you mean fans on the flywheel? There not replaceable on the 190 just the 150.

190 fans are cast, as is the whole rotor.1928 rotor is machine out of steel with thick steel fan blades and extra blades. I'm at the factory today, come across Tim and bring some brash!

You are unlikely to damage a 1928 rotor ever unless you put a BIG piece of steel through - we've chipped a couple of thick pieces of re-bar, a Karabiner and a pulley with ours (not all on the same day) and all that happens is the blades get chipped. They are very very solid - you will never bend the fan blades (the machine would stall first I reckon). They throw everything you put in them a long way (not like the old Greenmechs) but probably not as far as the Timberwolf to be fair. They'll easily fill a 7.5 tonner, and you won't need to sned anywhere near as much as you would with the 190. If you're offered a 1928 please let me know as I've just had one stolen.
