Need 25 ton of Cordwood, green, delivered to north Essex. Have been quoted £60 / ton for a radial of 75 miles, crane off load, ash and hornbeam.

 

Is this reasonable?

 

Anyone have any other leads / contacts they are willing to share?

I had nr 30t couple of months back and was £55t delivered. Im near Clare, Essex Suffolk boarder. If the wood was bit closer woould of been £50t delivered.

Sounds about right, again talk to Nick, I had several loads from him this summer, all good processor stuff.

Look on woodlots there are quite a few adds on there for your area and surrounding counties you should get it a bit cheaper than the price you quoted. Or as others have said wait for nick to come along he will be able to help you out .
