EKN Kolibri Harness

Tried it, very comfy, quite heavy, leg loops are very stiff, build quality appears good. Impossible to reverse side dees. You can change the bridge, I have seen one with a butterfly 2 type bridge.

Everything is adjustable, from the length of the bridge to the positioning of the side dees.

I think it would be a good leg loop harness for climbers used to butt straps!

It's certainly no lightweight pruning harness, but if you do big takedowns all the time i think its ideal.

Oh, and you can get shoulder straps for hanging big saws off your hip more comfortably!

I'm used to a heavy Buckingham harness, thats stood up to 8 years of abuse. I'm also used to a hard seat, and I do mainly large takedowns.

Sounds perfect.

why do you want to change the bridge ?

Not when it is new. I just mean after it wears out. I am on the big side of things and can wear out bridges rapidly. I have a Glide saddle and the original way to change out the bridge was nuts. I cut the rings off of it and replaced them with the clevices from the Butterfly. I am looking for a new saddle and I want to make certain that I can in fact change the bridge without much effort.

On some harnesses, like the butterfly for instance, the dees can be folded back, either deliberately or accidentally by lanyard placement. The way they are designed on the ekn they cannot be folded back, which is either an advantage or a disadvantage depending on your point of view.
