fallen Lime tree on bus in witley

Does anyone know who did this tree?. because i quoted for it years ago,needless to say i never got it. when i saw it had been done, i could not believe they had only taken a fraction off the top. i would have taken at least 50% off considering the distance to the building and road. i think the driver is ok now. The driver must of had a hell of shock when that come down. he is one lucky man because that is BIG tree. there's not much left of the bus

I Haven't seen this pic i seen the bbc news one. that looks like Glendale tree surgeons dealing with that!. Funny looking Oak tree they described then. Ii did'nt go that way today. use that route to work regularly

The driver aparently suffered a punctured lung and internal bleeding. He was critical but stable yesterday afternoon.

 

Even after the crew told the reporters that the tree was a Lime they insisted it was an Oak (they know best).
