If somebody could send me a copy of their t&c would be great I have to do my own and it would be nice to know what to include in them,Matt I can fully understand why seem's to be a lot of people in the Newport area willing to muck about and try and haggle over the price of stuff as im sure im about to discover t & c may encourage the client to be less comfortable with messing you around.

I always send terms out with my quotes rather than invoices, so there is no grey area for them to say, oh i thought. I have three sets of terms one for Commercial, one for domestic (both arb) and a third for reports. I make clear that 10% of the total bill is added if you exceed the agreed date and have only ever had to threat to do this once.

i think terms and conditions along with your quote are a must for any firm nowadays there are to many customers that try to take advantage if it is there in writing and they sign to accept quotation there is no grey area at all and stamps it out before anything starts and if anyone doesnt want to sign they are normally the ones that are timewwasters or are going to mess you around anyway so saves you alot of time and headaches.
