Strong gusts here this afternoon, they have blown the workshop lights out 4 times in the last 1/2 hour. Have to type this quick before the power dies agaaiin....... too late!

Working on a hill by Oxford today, windy but ok. Yesterday, my son was working in the rain, landy stuck with a chipper on in deep mud at the back of a church, working in heavy rain until a piece of rusty metal fence rail went into the chipper, 'rain with added sparks' boss swore = time to go home early.

 

Locally in North Oxfordshire - flooded fields everywhere, some roads flooded, never as bad as some areas. Dogs love it, sticks and water games.

Heavy rain and strong winds up until about 5ish. Some of the worst conditions I have every worked in today. Amazing amount of water on the roads on the way home tonight.

scarry at night with that amout of rain. I got caught in a flash flood in wales once, thought a stream had overflowed but no stream just run off from a hill.

 

My son is on standby for tree work with tonights wind, bit of a worry.

Been high wind's today so much so watched an oak come down across the field

In Dublin to day it was raining and then some , then the wind came along with the rain , water ran up down and side ways inside my rain coat , but I had a great day climbing you've got to love it .

For the first time in 21years, ive lived here all my life, im unable to get anyfurther than my gate as the lane is heavily flooded. Water coming over the top of the bridge rather than going under.

Still hammering down here and gusting, couple of trees down in the local park and had to drive through a 100yd stretch of 6" deep water on a main road just to get to the yard, mad!
