HI MULL beech is the best mate ive this year have ash and oak for we have beech normal but not this year i like a very good large 8/10lb axe i got a very good one from the car boot sale for £3 it the axe ive had in a long time thanks jon

Hi mull are you splitting it when green that's the best time as the longer you leave down and start to season off it gets a lot harder to split into but you may be doing this now thanks Jon

I seen on the telly that your getting it hot down there, bit wet here just now,looks as if rain is heading south next few days, you better look out the oilskins!
