Heading into drought season here Jon. The rain keeps being promised but not arriving. I suppose I shouldn't complain.

HI TREEMAN were heading into the WET season 270mm plus here last month it a joke but were NOT FLOODED LIKE SOME IN SOMERSET THANKS JON :thumbup:

I will take your pidling 270mm of rain and raise you to 461mm for Dartmoor last month :thumbup:

 

No flooding here either but at 700feet up and on a hill I should hope it stays that way.

 

HI WOOD YOU HAD 461mm of rain this 270mm was at next town over and lower down so we would had 300mm plus no not good it a job now to keep safe thanks jon :thumbup:

Absolutely hammering down this aft, and a lad managed to turn a big JCB loader over on the mud!

 

 

Happy days.

 

No injuries btw, apparently none to loader either.

 

Loader upright now, not a scratch, driver now has clean underwear on!

 

All is good.....AND it's only spitting with rain and windy.

... And I've a mid afternoon appointment with a spot of traffic control. I can hardly tell you how I'm looking forward to standing in the rain...

I was doing it as a favour and wasn't going to get paid for it. Gave a ring just before leaving and turned out he had enough people after all. So I didn't have to spend the afternoon slowing the progress.of drivers. No point getting wet just for the hell of it.
