Petrol blower

I'm looking at getting a petrol blower but not sure which one to get. I've narrowed it down to either the sthil bg86ce or the makita. Is the sthil a two stroke? I know the makita is a four stroke. Any way what do you guys use and would you recommend it? Look forward to your replies and help.

Go for the bg86ce As you will only need one fuel can and some body is bound to put the 4 stroke mix in the saw! Save your self the problem now rather then later. Im no use with Blower numbers But i had the low powered one hated to use it,it was the bad sold it 1month later not use on witch on i have now with out going to look at it

I bought a bg86ce couple of months ago and have been very impressed with its power/performance. It does seem to get very hot after a little whiles use though so I would be wary using it all day .

Cheers mate wouldn't be used for long periods just for the clear up when I'm finished. If you ever need a hand mate give us a shout

i use a br420, compared to the handhelds the backpack ones are a lot better. the br600 is the top model now and is very powerful!

i like the ability to shift more, especially sawdust that has been rained on on tarmac and flags that wont move, the blower does a good job at shifting.

Been really struggling on my own lately. I desperately need to get in touch with someone locally as my usual hand is a bit out of reach now although he tries his best to assist me.

P.S .. I generally dont mix with your ' macho arb types ' but if your a genuine tree/nature person who takes health &safety seriously I would be interested in teaming up on a job in the near future with you .
