Try an charge as much as possible, like nick says, I wouldn't stick solely to a day rate as every job is different.

I do wonder tho, if your already running a 3 man gang, shouldn't you already know how much to charge??

Sorry if that's already been mentioned I've not read all the posts.

I'm on't phone!!

Sorry, I was mixing two posts, you said if you were using two trannies and chipper it would take 3 days, hodge said up his way itd cost £3000 ( so a grand a day) I'd love to even get anywhere near that a day for an average days tree surgery.

I was meaning the doing a couple of days with a unimog and fast trac. 2 transits, chipper, 4 men, chipper, fuel etc, it all adds up.

we dont own a towable chipper.. was sayin with a towable one and 2 trucks we'd do same job in extra day.... so to me havin all the big gear has only saved around £600... mog wont use 100lites diesel in the 2 days we're ther and fastac prob same.... so cheaper prob than runnin transits back and forth on white...[we have left both vechles on site mind]
