Hi guys,

So here's the thing, a couple of months ago since finishing uni I started selling logs, buying in the cord and then selling the logs in bags. I set up a website, its on google and google places and I've had a few sales through ebay.

But I just don't have time anymore. Plus my supplier of cord has disappeared. I spent quite a bit of time setting up the website and web presence etc - it seems a shame to waste it. So is it possible to sell this? Where/how on earth would I go about it? I was thinking of putting an ad on here somewhere maybe?

I wouldn't be looking for much, just a token so that I don't feel I wasted my time.

Thanks for any advice!

Sorry but it sounds worthless. You don't have a supplier or many customers by the sounds of it. The website is all you have which is easily created in an evening or two. Anyone wanting to set up would be best starting from scratch for free.

You could sell the machinery you have.......firewood processors, tractors....etc. But then it would only be worth the second hand value of the machinery.

What's your website?

If you have customers and a website then it certainly isn't worthless, yes others can do 1 over a couple of nights, but that isn't your target buyer.

Whats your turnover, and how much have you sold.

I only based my worthless comment on the fact the OP said they started a few months ago and the whole way it was worded seemed to imply the only thing worth anything was a website.

I have a website. Started around 6 months ago. Have an 18k vehicle. Shift around 12 x 1.2 cubic metre loads on a Saturday and I'd say my business is only worth the second hand value of the vehicle.

Apologies if I'm mistaken.

An add in classifieds would be the best idea stating location, turnover, profit ( loss) to date, any equipment included, premises etc etc.

Value is what a willing buyer is prepared to pay.
