Quite right too, i havn't read the New Arb Mag yet, nor will i (well if i got a freebie through the post i may as well give it a read) But, you can get a oad more usefull info through Arbtalk and the best bit is you have a Very Big network of like minded people to keep up to date with. Im a member of the Arb Association and IMO the info in the Arb Journal and Essential Arb publications are so spot on there is no need to look any further apart from on this forum

But you're quite right about some magazines being good sources, because peers review them in a somewhat systematic fashion. Posts on forums are quite spotty; read them at your own risk.

It did seem geared up towards selling gear for its sponsors. It would be nice to see a mag with some real journalism, looking at some of the more contentious issues in the industry.

"Are we over trained and under-experienced" might be a good headline.

I totally agree, but the only way this can happen is if people familiar with those issues do the writing.
