Pictures of an oak tree i felled for a customer . This is our own tree but was leaning over to the customers side. This tree was removed as some limbs had already broken off and had dead wood falling from it.The customer was a bit concerned about the tree as he is having £28000 worth of solar panels fitted around the area so didn't want these crushed if the tree came down unexpectedly. 4th & 5th pics of trunk which measured 11' 2" in diameter and 18' 6" long and estimated at 5-6t . Could of done with a 28-30" bar for my Makita 7901 saw on this one.

The trunk was not cut for fire wood . I sold the trunk to a local timber extractor who is a friend of my dad as he has the equipment to deal with large pieces of wood like this, He said he would either plank it down or send it to a saw mill for processing. Pic of one of his machines that would of been probably used to load it away.
