Me : you what??

Rg : I've got this holly and seeing as its Xmas you be able to cut it down and sell it, so would you like to buy it?

Me : are you joking mate? Why don't you sell it?

Rg : I wouldn't know how to make wreaths or what to do with it!

Me : well neither do I, any holly I cut down is going through that chipper behind you!!

Rg : oh right well could you come n have a look and give me a price only take you 10 mins n I'll pay cash!!

Me : now you're talking!!

Made me n lads laugh all day it did!! Some people are on another planet!!

You'd be surprised what florists will pay for. A lot of the stuff we cut down every day can be used in floral works of all kinds. Contorted Willow and Hazel are favourites along with Dogwood, Holly, Ivy, Magnolia, Honeysuckle and Jasmine etc. If it looks pretty or different they can probably use it. If you have a local florist or two it's worth having a quick yarn. You might not make a whole heap of money but the odd freebie bouquet for the wife doesn't hurt now does it?

thats a good point, might be worth everyone dropping off a business card/leaflet so it works both ways to every florist on their block.

If everyone does it then your oposition could knock the price of the product off the job, therefore being in a position to undercut you yet still

Make the same money.

The clever guys get the florist to get her husband his mate to labour for them for the privellidge of clearing your feet and still give you bunches of flowers for free.

This way you can charge accordingly and make money from your free labour, just make sure you do not share your secrets with the world :)

make sure they sign your RA and have boots and hat, this is all hypothetical remember lol
