Not horse logging - but horse splitting

Is this right! Following on from my latest thread in the firewood area (jaws of life vid), another wacky log splitter/log splitter setup. Can't remember the name for the type of splitter used here, but it's one of those yank machines that runs on a rack and pinion setup.

What was providing the power then?

Either petrol driven , battery i dont really know for sure.

After watching the video a few times the speed of the tracks is VERY constant , too constant especially when the suffolk looses its footing a little yet the tracks trundle on.

The Amish use machinery as you know only its horse drawn. :thumbup1:

Good plan Mr Hill, but it'll need a different splitter. It'll need one of those huge wheel things, widowmaker style. Then they'll need to slave in teams, one providing the power, the other one splitting wood, blindfolded!

They can swap after 3 cube, and after they've finished their 6cube shift they can go home.
