If your using a pinto instead of a hitch climber what are you guys clipping into with your chest harness or elastic for ascent?

That gusthards tether don't look like it would stop the rope wrench from folding back on its self in ascent , but I could be wrong

I had a play a round with ours last week for the first time. The folding back on itself is reduced by a rubber grommet that sits tight around the bolt in the opening end.

I found it worked quite well although I don't have much to compare it to.

 

Once I've finished stuffing my face I'll try and get a photo up showing it.

Here we go, first image shows the rubber grommet that sits around the front screw.

Second image shows the whole system being pushed up from below to best try illustrate the flex on the tether and fall back of wrench.

 

Dare say there'll be more flex and fall back than Adam's tether by the looks of them bad boys! Hope it helps illustrate ours a bit better for you though.:thumbup1:
